The Research Center for AI and Digital Technologies combines research in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, web and information technologies, and the creative development of digital solutions. It places special emphasis on the use of artificial intelligence in various scientific disciplines, including medicine and healthcare, as well as the humanities, physics, and social sciences.
Since 2018, the center has been operating as part of an international consortium with AGH Krakow, the Medical University of Graz, and the HPC center Cyfronet. Together, they develop deep learning applications and research technology transfer to industry while considering social impacts.
Research also encompasses the ethical and social implications of artificial intelligence use, particularly at the intersection with the humanities. The center makes a significant contribution to technological and scientific development, creating innovative solutions that shape the modern digital society.
