At Alma Mater, we encourage the integration of students from different study programmes and interdisciplinarity, as diverse knowledge is becoming increasingly important. We enable students to choose internal and external elective courses within the same Bologna cycle, allowing them to broaden their knowledge in the fields of education, research, and project work.
First-cycle students may also choose elective courses from other study programmes at the same level, provided they meet the required number of credit points. As a rule, the courses do not require prior knowledge and are offered subject to sufficient interest. To change a course, the student must inform the relevant student office.
Elective courses may also be completed at other higher education institutions in Slovenia and abroad, with obligations being recognized in accordance with the Alma Mater Statute. Brief descriptions of elective courses by study programme follow below.
