Mode of Implementation and Course of Study (BS)

Humanistic Studies

Hybrid Lectures

The study process in the bachelor study program Humanistic Studies at Alma Mater is conducted in a hybrid manner, which means that students can attend lectures on-site (Ljubljana) or online via the Zoom application.

Lectures are held in the afternoon, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. All lectures are recorded, and the recordings will be available to all Alma Mater students through e-classrooms on Moodle and remain published throughout the year. If students attend lectures online, they must submit a summary of the lectures to their online classrooms on Moodle within six days to ensure 100% attendance at the lectures.

Exam Periods

Subjects generally follow one after another, which means that the first exam period is immediately after the lectures and completed exercises, and there is no need to wait for the exam session. Usually, four exam periods are scheduled for each subject. Exams are taken at Alma Mater premises in Ljubljana, usually at 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM.

Study Obligations

Study obligations are generally carried out 2 to 3 times a week in blocks of 3 to 5 school hours.

Recognition of Study Obligations

A student can submit a complete application for recognition of study obligations completed within study programs at Alma Mater or another faculty after enrolling in the study program via eVŠ. Recognition of formal and informal knowledge is handled by the Study Affairs Committee based on the student's complete application. The application can be sent electronically to the email address: referat@almamater.si.
