Mode of Study and Course Progress (Master's)

Humanistic Sciences

Lectures

The study process in the master's study program Humanistic Sciences at Alma Mater takes place in Ljubljana.

Lectures are held in the afternoon, between 16:00 and 20:00. All lectures are recorded, and the recordings will be available to all Alma Mater students via e-classrooms on Moodle and remain published throughout the year. In case students attend lectures online, they must submit a summary of the lectures to their online classrooms on Moodle within six days to ensure 100% attendance at the lectures.

Exam periods

Subjects usually follow one after another, which means the first exam period is immediately after the lectures and completed exercises, and there is no need to wait for the exam session. For each subject, four exam periods are usually scheduled. Exams are taken at Alma Mater premises or online depending on the subject, usually at 3 p.m.

Study obligations

Study obligations are usually carried out 1 to 2 times a week in blocks of 3 to 5 school hours.
