Information Day: Microcredentials and New Developments in Physiotherapy

Information Day: Microcredentials and New Developments in Physiotherapy

8. 6. 2026

How can you quickly acquire new knowledge, demonstrate it to employers, and apply it immediately in practice?

The answer is offered by MICRO-CREDENTIALS

They are a modern way of acquiring practical knowledge and competencies. As publicly valid certificates, they enable professional development for individuals and the effective upgrading of employees’ knowledge for organizations. Since they are issued exclusively by publicly accredited higher education institutions, they represent credible proof of acquired competencies.

At Alma Mater Europaea University, we therefore develop modern micro-credentials that respond to the current needs of various professional fields.

New micro-credential: Systemic Regulation and Functional Integration in Physiotherapy

How can you identify the true cause of pain and not just its consequences? How can you understand the connections between different systems in the body that affect an individual’s movement, posture, and functionality?

These questions are answered by the new micro-credential Systemic Regulation and Functional Integration in Physiotherapy, which offers participants a modern and holistic view of how the human body functions.

The program is intended for physiotherapists, healthcare professionals, and anyone who wants to upgrade their knowledge in the field of functional body assessment. Participants will gain practical knowledge for a better understanding of the connections between the nervous, musculoskeletal, and respiratory systems, as well as their role in the development of pain, movement limitations, and other functional problems.

The micro-credential will be delivered by Almedin Muharemovič, a graduate of Physiotherapy at Alma Mater Europaea University and an expert in the fields of physiotherapy and osteopathy. In his work, he advocates a holistic approach based on identifying the causes of problems rather than merely eliminating symptoms.

The program combines contemporary knowledge from physiotherapy, osteopathy, and functional diagnostics and is aimed at the immediate application of acquired knowledge in professional practice.
