Modern Challenges in Physiotherapy and Health Sciences

15. 4. 2026

The book of abstracts of the international scientific conference It's About People 2025: Physiotherapy and Health Sciences brings peer-reviewed contributions from the fields of physiotherapy and health sciences.

This proceedings volume, edited by Assist. Prof. Dr. Tine Kovačič, brings together current research and professional insights from various fields. It addresses topics such as tele-physiotherapy, early intervention for children with risk factors, modern therapeutic approaches in Parkinson’s disease, and support for parents of children with autism spectrum disorders. Special attention is also devoted to ergonomics, medication safety, dementia care, and the development and application of nanomedicine.

The contributions link clinical, preventive, technological, and organizational aspects and emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based approaches. A strong emphasis is also placed on methodological rigor, ethical responsibility, and understanding technology as a means to improve health care, patient safety, and quality of life.

The publication represents an important contribution to discussions on the resilience of health systems, sustainable development, and the role of science in the service of people, while also encouraging further research and closer links between researchers and practitioners.

You are invited to read and engage in professional dialogue.
