Physiotherapy students Eneja Vehovec Pondelak and Leila Bougazi are spending this semester on an Erasmus exchange at the partner institution EUSES in Barcelona, where they are successfully combining studies, practical training, and an unforgettable life experience.
As they emphasize, Erasmus represents one of the most beautiful and valuable opportunities during one’s studies. “An Erasmus exchange is without a doubt one of the best experiences that happened to us during student life,” they highlight. In addition to high-quality and practically oriented education, they gained new professional knowledge, greater self-confidence, and a broader insight into different approaches to physiotherapy. “We also gained more confidence in presenting our ideas,” they add.
They are delighted with the supportive learning environment, where the emphasis is on collaboration, practical work, and a good relationship between students and professors, while the program also allows them to maintain a balance between study and free time, which they use to explore Barcelona and its surroundings.
At the same time, they sincerely express their gratitude to Alma Mater for making this experience possible. They are convinced that the Erasmus exchange will significantly shape their further professional development and remain in their memory as one of the most beautiful periods of student life.
The partner institution EUSES in Barcelona is an established higher education institution in the field of health and sports sciences, distinguished by its application-oriented study programmes, the integration of clinical practice, and an internationally oriented academic environment.
