The Alma Mater Student Picnic once again ensured an unforgettable ending this year: with sunshine, laughter, and team spirit.
The student organization Alma Mater once again ensured a pleasant end to the academic year by organizing the traditional student picnic. On the last Friday of May, students gathered in the green surroundings of Piknik Park Podpeč, where they were welcomed by a relaxed atmosphere with good food, refreshing drinks, and pleasant music.
After an intense academic year, students actively enjoyed their free time, with the highlight of the afternoon being a beach volleyball tournament that provided sporting excitement, loud cheering, and friendly competition, where besides winning, good spirits and team spirit were the most important.
It's great that at the end of the year we also gather outside the classrooms and relax with sports activities. It connects us and gives us new energy, said the head of the organization Ema Štumberger.
The student picnic repeatedly connects students from different fields and years and strengthens the sense of belonging to the student community. With the event, we once again proved that studying is not only education but also creating friendships and unforgettable shared experiences.
