The foundation for your professional path in the field of mental health

Psychotherapeutic propaedeutics represents basic introductory training designed in accordance with the Psychotherapeutic Activity Act (ZPtD). It is intended for anyone who wishes to acquire fundamental knowledge in psychotherapy, psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, ethics, health and social legislation, and scientific research methodology – regardless of your prior education.

Upon successful completion, you will receive an officially valid certificate - microcredentials, valued at a total of 50 credit points (CP). Microcredentials may be recognized in university programs, in procedures for obtaining professional qualifications and a psychotherapist license, and within European psychotherapy associations.

The program is also designed as a differential program for degree programs in psychology and psychotherapy science, as well as other related study programs. The program is also suitable for professionals preparing for the professional examination in healthcare or social services, as well as for psychotherapists who lack knowledge of scientific research methodology for preparing professional or scientific papers.

Students in undergraduate study programs at Alma Mater Europaea University may include selected courses from the Psychotherapeutic Propedeutics program free of charge among their elective subjects in a given academic year, provided that their lecture schedules do not overlap and that implementation is organizationally feasible. For more detailed information and coordination, they should contact the student office.
