Dance Arts Studies
Hybrid Lectures
Theoretical subjects in the master's study program Dance Arts Studies are mostly conducted online, making the study suitable also for candidates who are already employed.
Practical work in the form of exercises is required in the Contemporary Choreographic Practice track, where subjects are conducted as condensed and intensive workshops.
In lectures, we offer an individualized approach and teamwork in smaller groups, so we are flexible with scheduling for some subjects.
Lectures take place in the morning and/or afternoon. All lectures are recorded, and the recordings will be available to all Alma Mater students via e-classrooms on Moodle and remain published throughout the year. Subjects can also be conducted in English, which is practical for foreign students.
Examination Period
Students fulfill study obligations through concurrent colloquia, seminar papers, and exams.
Study Obligations
Study obligations are generally carried out 4 to 5 times a week in blocks of 3 to 5 school hours.
