Mode of Implementation and Course of Study (MASTER)

Web Science and Technologies

Lectures

The study process in the master's study program Web Science and Technologies at Alma Mater is conducted online, which means that students attend lectures online via the Zoom application.

Lectures take place in the afternoon, between 16:00 and 20:00. All lectures are recorded, and the recordings will be available to all Alma Mater students through e-classrooms on Moodle and remain published throughout the year. In case students do not attend live online lectures, they must submit a summary of the lectures in their online Moodle classrooms within six days to ensure 100% attendance at the lectures.

Individual research work

Students of the master's study program Web Science and Technologies carry out individual research work during their studies under the professional guidance and support of university teachers, who monitor and evaluate the student's individual research work throughout the entire study process.

Exam periods

Subjects usually follow one after another, which means that the first exam period is immediately after the lectures and completed exercises, and there is no need to wait for the exam session. Usually, four exam periods are announced for each subject. Exams are taken online, usually at 16:00.

Study obligations

Study obligations are usually carried out 1 to 2 times a week in blocks of 3 to 5 school hours.
