This year as well, Alma Mater students successfully carried out the traditional blood donation campaign and once again proved that solidarity, empathy, and social responsibility remain important values of our community.
At the Blood Transfusion Center of UKC Maribor, many students donated blood, thereby contributing to an invaluable supply that saves lives every day.
A sincere thank you to everyone who responded and donated blood. With your gesture, you gave someone the most precious gift: life. Such acts are not to be taken for granted, but rather reflect exceptional compassion and the awareness that every individual can make an important difference.
As one of the participants in the campaign, a nursing student, said: "When I donated blood for the first time, I felt a little nervous, but today I know that it was one of the best decisions. The feeling that you can help someone you do not even know is truly priceless."
The blood donation campaign is not only a humanitarian act, but also an opportunity to connect students and strengthen values that go beyond the classroom. At Alma Mater, we are proud that our students, through their example, help create a better and more supportive society.
