Visiting Hungarian partner university – focusing on sports physiotherapy, innovative diagnostics, and joint project development.
At Alma Mater Europaea, we hosted representatives from the Hungarian partner university Hungarian University of Sports Science, with whom we successfully collaborate in the field of physiotherapy and student exchanges.
During the visit, we presented the operation of our university to the guests and organized a thematic workshop aimed at developing project ideas. This was followed by a professional workshop on tensiomyography (TMG), led by our graduate Dorian Hojnik.
For the Hungarian delegation, we also prepared a professional tour of the Medical Rehabilitation Center of the Dr. Adolf Drolc Health Center Maribor, where they visited the functional diagnostics clinic. They familiarized themselves with the use of the Diers device, analysis of posture statics and dynamics, and practical use of tensiomyography.
The head of physiotherapy at the Dr. Adolf Drolc Health Center Maribor and our graduate Alen Pavlec presented the guests with a comprehensive concept of physiotherapeutic treatments. He emphasized the combination of fundamental physiotherapeutic procedures, manual therapy, and kinesitherapy using modern physical agents with high energy efficiency.
"We are pleased that mutual interest was shown for joint development of projects in the field of rehabilitation, especially in sports," concluded Alen Pavlec.
